This book is so different to others that I have read. This was an emotion rollercoaster of a book.
Lillian Shaw could be any girl in in suburbia who lives their life. She has her ups and downs and has her life turned upside down and doesn't know where to turn. Leo comes into her life when she is 16 and makes a lasting impression on her for her first true love. When circumstances tear them apart, Lil learns to move on. She lives a 'normal' life for 20 twenty years.
When Leo comes into her life again she learns that he had always kept an eye on her even though she didn't know. Leo is their to save her life and she realizes that after she can't fight it anymore.
Lillian could be anyone's daughter who has had a lifetime of ups and downs and can't fight anymore.
This was a great and emotional story.
